At the 60th reunion of the 43rd Infantry Division Veterans Assn, a memorial service was held at th Connecticut Veterans Cemetery in Middletown, CT, future site of the 43rd Monument and Memorial Brick-walk.
July, 2006

The first of six bronze plaques was forged in New York and arrived in Connecticut in time for the 60th reunion.
August, 2006

The first Memorial Brick order was placed.
February, 2007

The Sunbelt Chapter of the 43rd Infantry Division Veterans Assn. donated the 2nd bronze plaque for the monument.
May, 2007

The Vermont Chapter of the 43rd Infantry Division Veterans Assn. donates the 3rd bronze plaque for the monument.  It was forged in time for the 61st reunion in Rutland, Vermont.
June, 2007

A long-time member of the 43rd Assn. donates the 4th bronze plaque for the monument.  It was also forged in time for the 61st reunion in Rutland, Vermont.
October, 2008

The 50th Memorial Brick order was received and was sent in for laser-etching.
July, 2008

The 5th bronze plaque for the monument was donated, and the design was started.  It has not been forged as yet.
October, 2008

The 43rd Infantry Division Memorial web site was constructed.
June, 2009
The first 50 Memorial Bricks ordered recieved back from laser etching.

August, 2009
The 43rd Infantry Division Veterans Association celebrated their 63rd Annual Reunion in Rocky Hill, CT.
